We visited The Janko Kráľ Museum.
The Janko Kráľ museum was established in 1955 as a District Museum of National Geography named after a Mikuláš native, a poet Janko Kráľ.
At present the Janko Kráľ museum explores, documents, preserves, protects and presents collections funds of historical ethnographical, and artistics nature which are connected with development of Liptovský Mikuláš and writers of Liptov region. The museum administrates over 30 000 pieces of collections at present. Its activities are presented in there permanent exhibitions and in the exhibition room. The museum does its own editioral and publication activities and organises cultural and educational events.
The founder of museum is The town Liptovský Mikuláš.
We wisited The Centre of Koloman Sokol too.
The Centre of Koloman Sokol was established in 2002. It is situated in the centre of Liptovský Mikuláš, in the oldest secular building from the 15th century, which was a seat of the feudal noble Pongrác‘s family.
